Jenna Ortega added a dainty spin to her Gothic-themed style at the “Finestkind” premiere in Los Angeles on Tuesday, embracing corsetry in a white doily-patterned Adeam dress.

Ortega’s minidress featured sharp lapels, a sculptural bell-shaped skirt and a built-in corset. Styled by Enrique Melendez, the actress accessorized her tailored look with Andrea Wazen platforms.

WWD characterized the Adeam collection, headed by the brand’s creative director Hanako Maeda, as inspired by the physical art of ballet.

“Hanako Maeda briefly studied ballet as a child, but it’s something she understands intimately having designed costumes for The New York City Ballet in 2015. Spring saw her muse in the creative art again, but this time focused on the athleticism it takes to make the dancing seem effortless,” WWD reported on the collection in September.

Ortega has had a seemingly successful 2023, starring as Wednesday Addams in the Netflix series “Wednesday,” along with appearing in “Scream VI.” “Wednesday” not only broke multiple streaming records for Netflix but earned 12 nominations for the 2024 Emmy Awards.

“Ultimately, I don’t want to be pigeonholed and I want to do all that I can. I am somebody who is constantly searching for some sort of balance,” Ortega told WWD in 2022 about her life.

Ortega stars in “Finestkind,” a film about two half-brothers who are raised differently, until they are unexpectedly reunited. The crime thriller film, which will arrive on Paramount+ on Friday, premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in September. Its cast includes Tommy Lee Jones, Toby Wallace and Ben Foster.
