PARIS – Beauty brand Fresh has named Aida Lien chief executive officer.

She succeeds Anne Collinet in the role at the LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton-owned house.

In her new position, Lien reports to Stéphanie Medioni, executive president LVMH Beauty, and is based in New York.

Collinet has become women’s leather goods, accessories and international coordination director at Dior, according to an internal LVMH memo.

Lien began at Fresh in July as chief brand and marketing officer. Her work experience has also included serving as a strategic advisor at Verity Venture Partners and various roles at the Estée Lauder Cos., including at brands such as Origins, La Mer and Clinique. She founded a consulting firm, Rising Horse.

In the memo, Medioni thanked Collinet for her work at Fresh over the past two years.

“I am confident Ada’s experience as a global leader, along with her luxury skin care marketing expertise and consumer-centric approach, gives her the unique ability to continue bringing the love of Fresh to our consumers,” wrote Medioni.

LVMH acquired a majority stake in Fresh in 2000.

The brand, with a product lineup including face and body care, was founded by Lev Glazman and Alina Roytberg in Boston in 1991.
